The Oxfiniti Process is a new concept in wastewater treatment. As well as treating municipal wastewater (ASP), it is applicable to industrial wastewater treatments, river restoration, storm water treatment and other applications where oxidation of wastewater is required. Established in the US over 10 years ago, the patented process was introduced into the UK in 2014 and has since been adapted and utilised successfully at four UK Water Utilities. The small footprint of the process and innovative side-stream treatment of the wastewater enables the process to be utilised as a:
1) Mobile Emergency Breakdown Treatment unit
2) Supplementary Oxygen Supply during Planned Maintenance Events
3) Supplementary Oxygen Supply for Overloaded works
4) Capital Works Upgrades
5) Treatment Process Targeting High Ammonia Wastes
The performance and flexibility of operation has been demonstrated by four UK Water Utilities and has shown:
1) Energy savings of 20%+ and hence Carbon Emission Reduction
2) The Oxygen extracted at a safe low pressure on site from Air
3) A Quick and Easy set up within a Portable Containerised unit
4) Very Simple Operation and Maintenance Schedule
5) Significant Health & Safety Benefits in Set up and Operation
6) Advanced Satellite Remote Monitoring
This Oxfiniti process offers a huge innovative step forward in today’s treatment of wastewater. The energy savings and more effective process enables operators to improve on their Carbon Reduction targets.

Lower Sludge Volumes
Benefits
-
No dangerous and costly stored liquid oxygen or use of high pressure systems;
-
All equipment is self contained within the box and sits along the side of the basin, H&S risks are greatly reduced;
-
No disturbance to existing infrastructure;
-
Low maintenance costs – is carried out easily within the box unlike traditional aeration systems.
-
More robust and reliable system than existing aeration systems;
-
No degradation in performance over extended periods of time unlike fine bubble diffusers that require routine acid washing to maintain competitive oxygen transfer rates.

Other Benefits Of the Oxfiniti Process
01 Oxygen is produced within the Oxfiniti box at low pressures and there is no stored liquid oxygen;
04 It has low maintenance and costs carried out within the box reducing H&S risks, unlike conventional systems which require manoeuvring and heavy lifting equipment to raise equipment out of the ditch/basin;
02 System delivers high oxygen transfer as compared to conventional air systems which drop off over time;
05 High ditch ammonias were quickly reduced when the Oxfiniti box was turned on due to easily assimilated oxygen.
03 It is a simple physical/mechanical process which requires no chemicals;
